PHOTO: Shark Sighting at San Clemente Pier Closes Beach
VIDEO added! San Clemente beaches, from North Beach to Lost Winds Beach, were closed for two hours.
UPDATED at 2:26 p.m. to add video: A 10-foot shark spotted off of San Clemente Pier shut down the beach for two hours this morning.
Tori Harmon, who was fishing with her son, Zachary, spotted the shark and alerted San Clemente lifeguards. They also caught this great photo.
“We were on north side of the pier when we saw the 10-footer,” Harmon said.

The beaches were closed from North Beach to Lost Winds Beach, from 9:40-11:40 this morning.
