Recognize this San Clemente Burglar Caught on Camera?
A man who broke into a home and stole its surveillance equipment still managed to get caught on camera.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA Orange County sheriff's investigators today asked for the public's help in tracking down a San Clemente burglary suspect.
The burglar broke into a home in the 1200 block of Buena Vista about 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to Orange County sheriff's Lt. Mark Stichter.
The homeowner was not there, but he received an alert from a motion- activated surveillance system linked to his phone, Stichter said.

The burglar fled when an alarm system went off in the residence, the lieutenant said. He took some surveillance equipment and a watch before leaving, the lieutenant said.
The suspect has a dark complexion and is about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark-colored hat backward and a dark-colored jacket over a gray sweatshirt and dark jeans.
