San Clemente City Celebrates The Holiday Season!

CITY CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH LIGHTS, SANTA VISITS, DRIVE IN MOVIES AND MORE!

11/25/2020…San Clemente, California… The Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department is bringing holiday cheer to San Clemente with fun activities for the whole family! Kick off the holiday season at the Vista Hermosa Sports Park Meadows with two drive-in movies, $15 per vehicle. Pre-registration is required for both dates.

• December 4th, 5 p.m.: Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
• December 18th, 5 p.m.: The Grinch (2018)

Experience the magic of the holidays in San Clemente by taking a stroll through downtown! This season, enjoy a walk down the pier to see lighting on Tower Zero and the City’s first holiday tree on the pier! In addition to highlighting San Clemente’s iconic pier, on November 30th, a live tree will be decorated and lit at Parque Del Mar, overlooking San Clemente’s beautiful shoreline.

The holidays are not complete without Santa! With the holiday season nearly upon us and many regular holiday festivities looking much different, the City of San Clemente Recreation Division is pleased to offer an alternative holiday celebration for neighborhoods across San Clemente, “The Holly Jolly Trolley Trot”. This special activity brings Santa to your street for a drive by visit, spreading holiday cheer and sharing the magic of the season. All visits have been pre-scheduled for the first two weeks of December, on Friday and Saturday between the hours of 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., based on availability and location.

Back by popular demand, Santa letters will continue to be accepted by mail and email. Send your letters to 100 N. Calle Seville, San Clemente, CA 92673 or recreation@san-clemente.org and we will route them to Santa for a response.

With even more to experience in the “Santa’s Village by the Sea”, the Casa Romantica will continue this season’s magic by offering tours of the beautifully decorated grounds and facility through Casa Lumina. Experience the wonder of the holiday season with over 1,000 twinkling lights illuminating Casa Romantica’s exquisitely-decorated home and gardens with holiday themes. Don’t forget to support your local small businesses and shop small! Throughout the month of December, the Downtown Business Association and local businesses will be Puttin’ on the Glitz with festive décor, bright lights, and extended shopping hours for all your holiday shopping needs!
