San Clemente Deputies Escort Kindergartner To Class

It takes a village to raise the kids, and in San Clemente, these deputies went out of their way to make a little girl feel extra special.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA —Clarence Lobo Elementary School, a part of Capistrano Unified School District, was surrounded by Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies who "took over the school parking lot" today.

The officers enjoyed the community services project, starting with taking a local kindergartner to school, complete with a police escort, on their way to spend the morning.

They learned that she loves trolls, youtube sensation Jojo Siwa, and she's going to star in the play Aladdin over the summer.

They rocked out to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling" in the front seat and deputized the little miss, who got to wear a real deputy jacket and shake hands with the rest of the OCSD officers at her side to welcome classmates.

"Thanks to all at Clarence Lobo for letting us take over the parking lot," a spokesperson for the department said. "The students and staff are amazing."
