We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "Junkies"
- "The lack of exit routes from the city in case of an emergency because of the 5 freeway being the only option for many residents."
- "Safety: Crime from homeless/transient/unregulated sober living is certainly a safety issue. Concern: no immediate emergency care, the 5 freeway parking lot, regulation that interferes with positive change. I hope residents continue to be vigilant and stand up for their rights to create positive change."
- "Ease and accessibility of narcotics for teens. Not just SC but all of South County."
- "San Onofre plant"
- "Spraying for weeds and San Onofre waste and unchecked growth"
