<p>A 13-year-old girl who was on a skateboard suffered severe head injuries when she was struck by a vehicle in front of Mira Costa Park on Camino Mira Costa in San Clemente at 6:20 p.m., says Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority. </p><p>She was taken to the trauma center at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo in critical condition. She was not wearing a helmet.
