San Clemente Stabbing Saturday, 1 Arrested In Violent Attack
A house party at a San Clemente short term rental property ended with a man being stabbed.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA βA house party turned dangerous Saturday night in San Clemente, officials say. Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to multiple calls at the residence on the 100 block of Avenida Cordoba.
Witnesses called 911, reporting that a man suffered multiple stab wounds after an assault, OCSD spokeswoman Carrie Braun told Patch.
"When deputies arrived, they found a male victim in his 20s with multiple stab wounds to his leg," she said.

Officers detained six people at the scene. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital in unknown condition.
OCSD Investigators determined that the suspect in the stabbing was Ariya Rajab, 18.

"He was arrested and booked into jail for one count of assault with a deadly weapon," Braun said.
Neighbors and community members on the San Clemente Life Facebook Group say the home is a "party rental" that has been "allowed to continue operating." Rules of the rental home on VRBO state that there is no smoking and no parties of any kind allowed at the residence.
At Tuesday's City Council Meeting, residents nearby spoke out on the incidents at the Avenida Cordoba home as an "atrocity."
Susan Nelson, a resident and vacation rental neighbor spoke out at the city council meeting.
"We all live in the same town, we're all neighbors, and we should all take care of this town," she said, adding, "(The stabbing) was our worst fear realized, and we had no backup."
Patch has reached out to the owners of that short term rental house where the party took place, and will update this post when they have responded.
