San Clemente Summer Fun 2017 Returns With Music, Movies And More

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Let the music and movies begin premiering in San Clemente’s great outdoors. The City begins its series with a movie in the park to start the summer off right! Invite your family and friends to the Friday, June 9th screening of “The Secret Life of Pets.”

"Grab your blankets and come hungry because starting at 7:30 p.m. Baby’s Burgers OC will prepare delicious burgers and fries to enjoy dinner on the lawn," the City of San Clemente said in recent release."

If you have preschoolers, grab a glimpse of Playschool summer camps and create crafts with your children in the Tierra Grande Playschool building from 7:30 to 8 p.m. with the movie beginning promptly at 8 p.m.

Leave room for popcorn served by The Friends of San Clemente Foundation during the movie.

Bringing the bands back to the sand kicks off on Thursday, June 15th at 6 p.m. until sunset with San Clemente locals, Wigs and Ties presenting a free show with the sunset as your backdrop and free seating in the sand. The Fisherman’s Restaurant BBQ will return for only $8 a plate consisting of BBQ ribs, chicken, baked beans, oriental salad, sourdough bread, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

The summer fun continues with more music and movies in the park and on the beach. Save the dates for all the shows:

• Movie & Dinner in the Park: Friday, June 23rd, Karaoke at 7:30 p.m. and the showing of “Sing” at 8 p.m. | Made in Brooklyn Pizza truck (nominal fee)
• Beach Concerts: Thursdays, 6 p.m. to sunset, north of the San Clemente Pier
