San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club's 5th Annual Dancing For a Cause open for applications.
Deadline is November 24 for applications by charity organizations who want to participate in the multiple-charity fundraising event.
November 24 is the deadline for non-profit organizations to submit an application to sponsor a dancer for Dancing For A Cause Ballroom Dancing Competition. The event is based on ABC TV’s Dancing With the Stars. Each dancer will be paired with a professional dancer and will do a two minute dance in front of judges. The event will be held on April 17, 2015 at the historic Casino in San Clemente. Cash prizes and a trophy will be awarded to the winning dancer’s San Clemente charity. Past participating charities have included Kiwanis, Laura’s House, Rotary International, San Clemente Abolitionists, San Clemente High School Cheer, and Words of Comfort, Hope and Promise. All proceeds are donated to charity. Past events have garnered as much as $70,000 for charity.
