SEIU is asking for 22% Across the Board Pay increase over 4-years

Instead of extravagant annual raises for public employees- lets fix aging facilities and reduce class sizes with our tax money

CUSD just gave 8.67% across the board compensation increases and is now asking the public to pass a $2 billion dollar school facilities bond claiming that it has not had the money to fix or maintain aging school facilities. This is the 4th consecutive across the board compensation increase in 4 years.

Did you know that by 2021 CUSD contributions to CalSTRS and CalPERS will make up 10% of CUSD's total budget? Employee Compensation is 90%- what is left to actually educate kids?
