Speedy Porsche Driver is Detained

At 1:35 a.m. Friday Oct. 11, a caller reported a drunken driver near the cross streets of Calle Frontera and Avenida Pico. A man in a silver Porsche was driving faster than 100 mph on surface streets. Deputies tracked down the speedy 24-year-old man and arrested him. The man has posted bail and been released from jail.

At 1:04 a.m. Friday Oct. 11, someone reported suspicious activity near the cross streets of Camino De Estrella and the I-5 Freeway. A black-and-white paneled van was backed up to the door of the bank with the side doors opened. The caller said a couple of suspicious figures were at the entrance of the bank as well. No arrest was made.
At 4:33 p.m. Friday Oct. 11, deputies received a report of a suspicious man in the 3900 block of El Camino Real. The caller claimed that two teens were walking up a dirt trail near the local Carl’s Jr. and a suspicious man wearing a hoodie was following them closely.
At 6:56 p.m. Friday Oct. 11, a caller told deputies about a disturbance in the 500 block of El Camino Real. A 30-year-old man was screaming at customers inside a local store. The man then declared he was next going to harass customers inside a local Ralph’s.
