Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, if you like the small stuff, then it's worth getting in the water. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't put paddling at the top of your to-do list!
The conditions are starting off pretty clean and glassy, but it looks as if that could change sooner than later. Taking a look at the waves, we're seeing a continued mix of mainly dropping northwest energy and some pretty minor south southwest swell in the water.

That recipe is providing this neck of the woods with some fairly soft, sectiony lines, with a few decent ones. Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to waist-high, with the top combo breaks pulling a few bigger sets.
Checking the tides: At 5:51 this morning the tide climbed up to a 3.3 high and then drops to a 1.3 low at 11:38 later this morning and then pushes up once again to a 4.7 high at 6:23 this evening.

If you're going to grab a salt water bath, then throw on no more than a thin fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between a nice 64 and 66 degrees.
Good luck out there!
