Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report. Well, it's nothing solid, but it has picked up a bit with plenty of playful size surf on tap!
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with mostly an increase in south southwest swell and very little northwest windswell in the water. That recipe is offering some crumbly sectiony lines, with some nice shoulders to snag.
Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to chest-high, with the standout southerly spots seeing a few larger sets.

Taking a look at the tides: At 10:29 this morning the tide climbs up to a 4.0 high and then drops to a 2.0 low at 3:08 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, a 3/2 fullsuit is plenty, with the water temperature averaging between 62 and 64 degrees. See ya in the water!
