Tell the San Diego Regional Water Board to Stop the Foothill Tollroad

Take over of one of the West Coast's last natural watersheds is threatened

This will be the 4th time developers have tried to take over San Onofre State Park. Please go on www.Calparks.org or Calparks facebook page to learn more and to sign a petition against this before Feb. 18th at 2pm. If this road is authorized, it will destroy one of the west coast’s last natural watersheds and take over state park public lands setting a precedent that would allow developers to seize state park and public lands throughout the country. Help preserve our public lands please. Once they are gone, we can never get them back. The TCA said they would “relocate” the riparian habitat and that it would take 10 years to grow back. What would the wild life do in the meantime? And what would future generations say about us if we allowed public lands to be taken over? There are other alternatives to the route for this $15 each way toll road. The TCA just keeps ignoring them and trying to get this road through in segments before the public knows what’s happening. Thanks for signing the petition. I’m sure Surfrider will also have the petition on their website.
