Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report. Well, she just can't seem to snap out of this small spell. Yep, it's looking like another day of really weak energy. So, if nothing else get out there and go for a paddle. The good news: We're seeing some nice clean conditions early on, with a mix of minimal west-northwest swell and a tad of southwesterly energy in the water.  That recipe is giving us some soft, sectiony lines, with a few fun ones, but you should definitely break out a log or something really thick and wide. Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee-high, with the focal points pulling some waist-high sets. At 9:06 this morning the tide drops to a 1.5 low which will have many spots desperate for water mid-morning. The tide then climbs back up just a tad to a 2.3 low at 3:15 this afternoon. If you're planning on paddling, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. See ya in the water!
