Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, it's looking like one of those days where you could take it or leave it. Yep, there's not a lot of swell and the weather is a bit unstable, so don't be surprised if the conditions take a turn for the worse.
The conditions are fairly clean, with some spots already seeing some texture on it. We've got a small mix of lingering west northwest swell, some southerly energy and a little new northwest swell starting to show.

That recipe is making for mostly soft, sectiony lines, with a few decent shoulders. Most San Clemente spots are seeing knee- to waist-high waves, with not much more than that.
At 6:10 this morning the tide dropped to a 1.6 low which will have many breaks desperate for water early on. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.3 high at 11:44 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.4 low at 5:33 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, you'll need at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temp averaging between 56 and 57 degrees.
Good luck out there!
