Community Corner

A Turkey Trot With a Difference on Nov. 22.

Help San Clemente's Sunrise Rotary Club Make a Difference

If you’re going to run out to the market for a few things for your Thanksgiving feast, remember a few extra cans of this or that, a bag of veges or even a whole frozen turkey for families that may not be able to afford these luxuries for Thanksgiving this year.

The San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club will be at Ralphs Market on Camino de Estrella from 8 am to 2 pm Saturday Nov. 22, collecting food to help our neighbors enjoy the day, too. The goal is to feed 300 families in our community for Thanksgiving with a full Thanksgiving day feast. But they can’t do it without your help. It’s yet another thing to give thanks for - that you CAN help.

And while you’re there, say a quick “thanks” to our community partners who are making this possible:  Ralphs Market and the Holiday Inn for helping our community.
