Wednesday Wave Check

Pretty fair out there.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking pretty fair out there.  We're seeing some playful size surf, but there's a light south wind which is putting some texture or even bump on the water.

We've got a mix of some decent lingering southwest swell and some smaller west northwest energy in the water.  That recipe is making for some kinda crumbly broken up lines, with a few fun corners to pick off.

Most San Clemente spots are running about knee to waist high with the standout breaks pulling stomach high waves with some chest high plus sets.

At 4:45 early this morning the tide climbed up to a 4.9 high and then drops to a 1.3 low at 12:01 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session, throw on at least that 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 57 and 59 degrees.  See ya in the water!
