Weekend Traffic Warning: No Metrolink

ORANGE COUNTY, CA - Whether you typically drive or take Metrolink, traffic will be impacted this weekend because of maintenance.

Rock along the shoreline is being replaced to secure the railroad tracks. To perform the work, all Metrolink service south of San Juan Capistrano will be suspended. San Clemente residents near the tracks will experience some noise in the daytime this weekend as work is completed.

Freeway traffic may be heavier than usual as Metrolink customers take to the roads.

Metrolink Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line trains to and from San Juan Capistrano will operate normally.

Metrolink will not provide buses or alternate transportation. Amtrak will also suspend operations south of Irvine on Saturday or Sunday, however Amtrak will provide bus service as an alternative.
