What Every Neighbor Wants: Bongos and Banjoes at Midnight

At 12:11 a.m. Sunday Aug. 8, someone reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Marquita. The caller stated a band practice involving bongos, banjoes, and singing.

At 12:29 a.m. Sunday Aug. 8, an informant told deputies about a drunken driver near North El Camino Real and Camino San Clemente. The caller claimed the driver was swerving, stopping at green lights and driving in the bike lane. No arrest was made.
At 9:28 a.m. Sunday Aug. 8, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Miramar. The caller’s boyfriend was attempting to break into her home by smashing a window, she said.
At 12:30 a.m. Monday Aug. 9, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a disturbance in the 200 block of Cordoba. A loud party was occurring and waking neighbors.
