Which Food Trucks Are Coming to San Clemente High Nov. 20?

Fusion food might be the word of the day, with lots of bacon thrown in for good measure.

Food trucks are on site at San Clemente High every Wednesday evening from 5-8. Here are the trucks this week:

A Bite Truck: Fusion dishes like bison chili, ragout of lamb and Modelo-steamed mussels characterize this Orange County-based food truck.

Bacon Mania: Food like chili mac (with bacon), flash-fried spinach (with bacon) and something called The Rico, a half-lb. all-beef hot dog covered in caramelized onions, grilled jalapenos, and spicy chipayo sauce (and bacon).

Dogzilla: Hot dogs with a distinctly Japanese style. Asian toppings like ground seaweed, yakisoba noodles and furikake spices decorate their dogs, including the namesake Dogzillatopped with avocado, Japanese mayo, homemade teriyaki sauce, furikake and bacon bits. They also offer the super-filling Loco Moco Fries topped with egg.

Tamarindo: Organic Mexican food. The concept is simple, Mexican street food: tortas, tacos, mariscos, quesadillas and aguas frescas (juices for you gringos).
