Teachers are threatening to STRIKE!

CUSD and teachers are in Fact Finding due to a lack of adequate funding from the State. This comes after four years of across the board compensation increases for all employees totaling over $120 million, while students are denied their fundamental right to:

Core Educational Programs that align with minimum State Content Standards and Curriculum Frameworks (CUSD students have no Art- Music- Science; and now PE, unless parents fundraise for it.)

Beneficial Pupil Teacher Ratios and class sizes. (Class sizes are to large and staff to student ratios are not safe).

High Quality Buildings (CUSD facilities have not been fixed or maintained in 15 years).

Modern Equipment and materials.

Why is CUSD paying this employee for 90 hours of over-time; in advance, for "possible future traffic and unexpected breakdowns on the bus"?
