Crime: Prowlers Lurk at Doorstep

At 4:36 a.m. July 21, a caller reported two prowlers in the 400 block of Plaza Estival. The caller said a man and a woman were looking inside her home through the patio. The caller then shined a flashlight, but the pair fled.

At 1:33 a.m. July 21, a caller reported a suspicious man near the cross streets of Avenida Vista Hermonsa and Camino Vera Cruz. The caller said the man was passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle.
At 8:06 p.m. July 21, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Mariposa. Three people in a red Nissan Z were speeding down the street and almost hit a pedestrian. The caller said the driver then parked, got out of his vehicle and began screaming at bystanders.
At 5:48 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious vehicle near the 2600 block of El Camino Real. An unoccupied white BMW had been running for the past two hours.
