About Dr. Orloff
Transforming the face of psychiatry, Judith Orloff MD asserts that we are keepers of an innate intuitive intelligence so perceptive that it can tell us how to heal -- and prevent -- illness. Yet intuition and spiritu- ality are the very aspects of our wisdom usually disenfranchised from traditional health care.
Dr. Orloff advocates “a democracy of healing,” wherein every aspect of our being is granted a vote in the search for total health. It is our birthright, both as health-care givers and health-care recipients, to reclaim our intuition to build energy and well-being. In response to her work, The Los Angeles Times calls Dr. Orloff “a prominent energy-based healer.”
Dr. Orloff begins talks by creating a bond of warmth, trust and intimacy with participants, within which they can hear and explore her ideas. Her sincerity, humor, and joy bring everyone in the audience with her -- leaving everyone certain of their own intuitive abilities, as well as Dr. Orloff’s contributions to a radi- cally new kind of medicine.
Dr. Orloff was voted “Most Inspirational Person” for the Readers Choice 2012 awards on About.com (a New York Times site.)
The Sunday Times Style in London calls Dr. Orloff “the positive energy guru.”
“Dr. Judith Orloff is a model for balancing fierce left-brain intellect and right-brain compassion.” --Next Ave (PBS site)

About CSLCV
Founded in 1968, the Center for Spiritual Living Capistrano Valley offers a community for spiritual seek- ers who believe that the universe has intelligence, purpose, beauty and order and integrates spiritual tools such as affirmative prayer, meditation and visioning to provide a greater relationship with God.
“When God is the focus of our spirituality and we feel a deep and daily connection, then other areas of our life fall into place,” explained Rev. Dr. Heather Clark, senior minister for CSLCV. “We are happier and we can do more for others; our connection makes us better stewards of the Earth and brings peace and harmony to the world.”
One of more than 450 Centers for Spiritual Living throughout the country, CSLCV teaches and provides insight into spiritual principles, such as cause and effect, initially introduced by mystics thousands of years ago and recently proven by science and physics. This New Thought tradition dates to the 1880s and has its roots in the Transcendentalist Movement of the 1830s. New Thought has a respected and enduring legacy that includes luminaries such as Ralph Waldo Emmerson, Walt Whitman and Phineas Quimby. Modern day writers and philosophers who echo the New Thought idea include Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Michael Bernard Beckwith, Louise Hay and Eckhart Tolle among may others.
