Your City Council Candidates in San Clemente

From the city of San Clemente:

The nomination period for member of the San Clemente City Council has closed. The following individuals will appear on the ballot:

Lori Donchak

Mikii Rathmann

Fred Olsen

Kathy Ward

Jim Dahl

Tim Brown

Also, Ricardo “Rick” Nicol (son of Ricardo Nicol who you may know from Council meetings) filed papers this afternoon, but I have not yet heard from the Orange County Registrar of Voters as to whether he received the 20 validated signatures necessary to qualify for the ballot.

Robert A. Drust and Jeremy E. Schwartz did not file by today’s 5:30 p.m. deadline.

Tomorrow, the California Secretary of State will conduct a randomized alphabet drawing that will be used to determine the order in which the names will appear on the ballot. I will let you know after I receive that information and have established the ballot order of San Clemente’s Council candidates.
