1 Injured, Traffic Stalled In Crash Reported On Ortega Highway

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Traffic on the Ortega Highway passing took a turn for the congested after one person was injured in a car crash Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred at 7:48 a.m. on the State route 74 highway traveling toward Riverside near La Pata Avenue, authorities said. The status of the injured person is not known.

The crash resulted in slow-moving traffic on the highway, and residents were advised to steer clear of the area. By 8:55 a.m., the traffic on Ortega Highway was cleared.
