4th Of July Fireworks In San Juan Capistrano 2017: Where To Watch In Orange County

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — In San Juan Capistrano, spend your 4th of July with a city carnival for all. The San Juan Capistrano 4th of July Celebration starts at 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Gates open at 3 p.m., with a city carnival offering children and parents plenty of fun. Local organizations and businesses will offer great food fare and those ages 21 and older (with ID) can enjoy the beer and wine garden.

Festivities include free picnic games for the entire family and be sure to take a ride around the park on the freedom train at no cost.

Live entertainment kicks off at 6 p.m. at the main stage with local band Family Style.

"Come early and bring the kids to the Fourth of July Carnival which opens at 12 p.m. and will shut down briefly during the fireworks display at 9 p.m. All rides require the purchase of a wrist band or individual tickets, the city said.

Street parking is available along Camino del Avion with additional parking in the Sports Park Complex. No personal fireworks or barbecues will be permitted. Bring your chairs and blankets.

Canopies are welcome in the back portion of the sports park.
