Dear MBS Family,
I am so very pleased to inform you that after much deliberation, many interviews, and multiple discussions and discernment, a new principal has been chosen for our beloved Mission Basilica School. Mrs. Alycia Beresford will begin here as principal on July 1. Mrs. Beresford has taught for 8 years while attaining a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and a Master of Arts in Education in Cross Cultural Teaching. She is thrilled to embrace the rich history and traditions our school has to offer while always continuing to move our school, education, and programs forward. I know she is excited to get to know all of you and I’m sure she will be in touch later this summer. I will be able to assist with her transition to make sure everyone has a smooth opening to the school year and beyond.
