Man Hides in Attic above Cafe Mozart

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, an angry contractor is reported, a stolen bike, and a neighbor worries about teen skateboard safety.

At 10:06 a.m. Friday Jan. 24, a caller told deputies about a trespasser in the 31900 block of Camino Capistrano. A 30-year-old man had trespassed onto the property of Café Mozart. Deputies arrived and discovered the man had been found in the attic crawl space of the establishment. The man was detained, however no arrest was made.

At 7:51 a.m. Friday Jan. 24, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31600 block of Peppertree Lane. The contractor of an in-progress home was refusing to leave the property and tried to remove various items. The informant quickly called back, saying the contractor had calmed down and left.

At 10:01 a.m. Friday Jan. 24, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a petty theft in the 32500 block of Paseo Adelanto. An unknown person had stolen the caller’s bike.

At 4:11 p.m. Friday Jan. 24, deputies received a phone call about a disturbance in the 32600 block of Via Los Santos. A group of teens was setting up a skateboard ramp. The caller said they believed the ramp was dangerous and were worried about the children’s safety. When deputies arrived, they discovered an adult was supervising the children.
