All 3 SJHHS Boys Vball Teams Take Down Woodbridge

The first match-ups of the season went the Stallions' way.

The three boys' volleyball teams got off to an incredible start of the season Tuesday when when all three levels, varsity, junior varsity and frosh/soph, recorded victories over Irvine's Woodbridge High School without dropping a single game.

Varsity, comprised mostly of sophomores, won 3-0 (25-19,25-12,25-17) over Woodbridge. Sophomores Ryan Schickling and Logan Zotovich led the team in kills with 11 and 8, respectively.

The boys excelled under the direction of their new head coach, Justin Deblasio who previously coached for San Juan-based 949 Volleyball Club.
