Architectural Walking Tour Docents

Do you love the history and unique look of of SJC?  Would you enjoy sharing the stories of SJC and it's buildings with visitors?

The Friends of the Library conducts weekly walks in town to share stories about the unique architecture starting on Los Rios St. with the adobes that were built in the 1700's and ending at the Post Modern library designed by Michael Graves in the 1980's.  The walks take between 1 to 1 1/2 hours each Saturday at 10:00 am.  There are several volunteers who share the schedule so your commitment would be once every 5-6 weeks.

You will receive complimentary books on the history and architecture of San Juan Capistrano along with several resources to help you create your tour.  You can follow several docents until you feel ready to conduct your own tour.
