Are Taxpayers and Students really represented by CUSD Board of Trustees
Trustees are elected to represent students and Taxpayers- they are "Fiduciaries" for students and taxpayers. They do not represent employees

I received the following comments from a parent regarding a post I made on facebook:
This is from one person:
"But trust me, I do agree that there are some major issues with funding, projects, policies etc. I just don't believe it's fair to blame the teachers, as this is the contract that CUSD agreed to. I agree completely that children and their education should not be compromised."

second post-
"And I have several teaches in CUSD and none have received a blanket 8% increase this year. In fact, their salaries are still not what they were prior to the 10% across the board decrease. And funding comes from several different areas--specific Ladera Ranch CFD funding is to be used for capital improvements to our schools. The additional buildings, etc is due to increased enrollment (well above what was originally slated for the Ladera schools)."

third post-
"I have read the above letter last week and it is full of inaccuracies. This is an opinion--not an actual report of the newspaper. Very misleading."
Here is the actual CUSD Board of Trustee Audio as to how a 2012-13 contract was negotiated in public- you tell me if students and tax payers were represented by Trustees (who have a fiduciary duty to students and taxpayers- AND NOT to the employees who are well represented by their public employee unions-
