There's no place like home! Nice to visit Hawaii and enjoy Oahu and Maui but coming home to my home and my community to the streets I know and love is always comforting...went right to my garden and saw that the tomatoes and kale and all the squash and corn are going off! Did my first all organic garden this year with raised beds and used the manure and dirt mixed with the great organic mixed soil bought in town at DeNault's True Value Hardware on Del Obispo, man I love that store and the guy that does the gardening dept. was so helpful in helping me get it all started with lots of helpful hints and suggestions, like Neem Oil to keep the bugs away...I have it sprayed on the apple and pear trees as well and that has really cut way back on the spoilage and pests.
