Bishop Vann Celebrates St. Joseph’s Day Mass

The tradition continues!  On March 19th, the Basilica bells rang out in celebration of St. Joseph’s Day.  Bishop Vann and Monsignor Art celebrated the standing room only Mass which was attended by the MBS school students, alumni, parishioners and visitors.   Matriarch Helen McMullen and Patriarch Thomas “Happy” Hunn led the Honor Guard as the entire congregation paid tribute to the Royal Court of 2014.  At the end of Mass all in attendance processed to the beautiful Mission grounds as the old school bell tolled in observance of the students’ arrival.  The celebration continued as the MBS students performed traditional dances for the enjoyment of the crowd.   It was definitely a great day to be a Swallow!
