BREAKING: Traffic Alert for San Juan Capistrano I-5 Southbound at PCH Onramp
A traffic alert has been issued for I-5 Southbound at the Beach Cities Onramp -- a pole is blocking lanes. Be advised & seek alternate route
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA—A traffic alert is in effect for the area of Camino Las Ramblas, on the PCH on-ramp to Southbound I-5.
As of just before 11:45 a.m. a power pole is blocking the #2 lane of the on ramp to Southbound I-5.
SDG&E and CalTrans have been called, and CHP advises that this might be a long term issue, as the power pole must be treated as if it is live.

"A supervisor from SDG&E is en route to look at the pole and decide whether or not it is live so that it can be moved to open up the lanes," Officers from the scene reported.
Orange County Fire Authority is headed to the scene where an individual involved in the initial accident is injured on scene.
