Extremely disappointed. The manager will cheat you! We chose to use Penske ($89 a day, plus mileage) over Uhaul ($39 a day) as we figured Penske would be a more dependable, quality truck and it had the hydraulic lift versus Uhaul's ramp. On a side note, the moving men were disappointed we had rented a Penske which doesn't have a ramp, because they prefer the ramp on the UHaul as the hydraulic lift actually slows them down.
We were good customers, renting the largest Penske truck they offer in addition to renting fifty "pads" (more like small, lightweight sheets), a hand dolly, and paid for Penske insurance too.
The Penske manager advised us to be sure to bring back the diesel tank full. He showed us the picture he took of the full tank. We returned the truck on a Saturday afternoon (he was closed and asked us to drop the keys through the slot in the door) with the full tank of diesel (we took a picture too).
Later I see my credit card was charged for 1/8 of a tank of gas ($70) over 8 gallons at $8.00 a gallon. I called and said there's been a mistake as we drove 5 miles out of our way to find a diesel gas station and we did top it off AND WE HAVE A PICTURE OF THE GAS GAUGE TO PROVE IT. He turned from Mr. Nice Guy to "sorry, you can take it up with Penske Corporate and try to get your refund that way. I already billed your credit card." I offered to show him the picture of the gas gauge and he said it didn't matter. So I am taking this up with my credit card company and will go from there, but beware as he will cheat you if he can find a way.
