Camino Capistrano Pickleball Courts Open To SJC Community

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Pickleball players of San Juan Capistrano, your time has come. Resurfacing and repurposing of the tennis courts on Camino Capistrano and Acjachema Way was recently completed, and four new pickleball courts were opened to the public Friday.

This project is the first of two pickleball projects in San Juan Capistrano. Currently, the city is working on repair and resurfacing work on the outdoor basketball and volleyball courts at Cook La Novia Park. The courts will be converted into two pickleball courts, and the project is expected to wrap up mid-May, the city said.

San Juan Capistrano residents were advised to look out for a community event celebration later in the spring to commemorate the new courts.
