Capistrano Chromebook Pickup Update

Dear CUSD Families,

The response to the chromebook distribution was beyond what we expected -- and beyond the numbers we received through our survey of families.

We understand that the line for pickup is long, stretching into streets and creating safety hazards. If you do not receive a Chromebook today, please know that we are working on a new plan to distribute these devices in a manner that is efficient and safe for our families. We will share our plan this evening and work to distribute these devices to families this week.

Our priority is to get these devices first into the homes of students who do not have access to a computer or laptop. We greatly appreciate your patience and apologize for any frustration you may have experienced this morning.
