Capistrano Unified School Parent Training And Reopening Update

Dear CUSD Families,

We are 11 days from the start of the new school year! Although this school year will open very differently than what we are all used to, we are committed to supporting you and your students as we prepare for this adventure together.

Today I want to share a few updates on parent and teacher training and additional parent resources.

Although our teachers are not officially back from summer break, they are working diligently to prepare for the new school year. As always, their dedication is unmatched! Over 1,850 teachers have completed Canvas Basics training already. Teachers and staff will continue to access online training in the coming days as we all prepare for your students and improve upon our work from the spring.

We are also creating training opportunities for you! With the addition of new learning platforms to support distance learning, we are offering Canvas training for all Kindergarten through Grade 12 families next week. Following are the dates, times, and links to the Canvas Parent Webinars:
