I am excited to share with you that we are inching closer to the day we can reopen our classrooms and school campuses!

The CUSD Board of Trustees will meet on September 2 to discuss and vote on a specific timetable for students to return to in-person / hybrid instruction in our schools. Our priority is to reopen our campuses safely and to minimize the chance of future disruption. Staff will recommend, for trustee consideration, a phased opening that would begin in the week of September 14.

As we prepare for “Back to School, part 2,” we also want to make sure there are options so each of you can make the best decisions for your students and your family. Some of our families are ready to return, and some prefer to stay online for now. We are committed to supporting all of you as best as we can.
