Capistrano Unified School Update: Potential Delay Of In Person Learning

Good Afternoon,

After we sent our email announcing our reopening plan, Governor Newsom announced that the COVID-19 State Monitoring List was being replaced by a new plan with revised criteria. The new plan is called a “Blueprint for a Safer Economy,” and you can find it here: https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy/.

We do not know how this new criteria impacts our reopening timeline. We are working with contacts in Sacramento, the Orange County Department of Education, and the Orange County Healthcare Agency to identify impacts so that we can communicate them to you.
