Car Chase Across Orange County Ends with Woman's Arrest
A woman who led CHP officers on a chase from Los Angeles County, across Orange County, ended in San Diego County with Pala Mesa arrest.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA β An early morning, three-hour-long car chase from Los Angeles, through Orange County, ended in San Diego County this morning. The chase ended when the woman's Saturn Sedan was "boxed in on a cul-de-sac by CHP officers," according to City News Service reports.
The chase began at 4:15 a.m. on the eastbound Ventura Freeway in the Woodland Hills area, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Monica Posada.
"The woman was driving erratically and was regarded as possibly driving under the influence," Posada said. "The motorist led officers on a chase onto the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway and over various roadways, including the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, and entered Orange County shortly before 5 a.m."

The Saturn sedan entered San Diego County near Camp Pendleton, continued south on Interstate 5 then headed east on state Route 76, according to Posada.
News video of the car chase showed the sedan dragging its bumper after being struck by a CHP officer's cruiser in a residential area near the state Route 7 and Interstate 15 junction. A female driver was finally taken into custody in the Pala Mesa in San Diego County.
