City Summer Trolley Service Starts This Weekend

The San Juan Capistrano city trolley is a free service that residents can use to get around until Labor Day.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Are you looking for a way to get around town in San Juan Capistrano? The city's free summer trolley service starts Friday, and residents are encouraged to hop onboard through Sept. 5.

The trolley operates for 13 consecutive weeks and include two trolleys on 20-minute frequencies servicing a continuous loop from downtown San Juan Capistrano to the Dana Point trolley connection at Stonehill Drive and Del Obispo Street.

This year, the program also includes a special event trolley service for the City of San Juan Capistrano's San Juan Summer Nites concert series at Historic Town Center Park, as well as the 4th of July Carnival to take place on Independence Day.
