Congratulations MBS Graduates!

Congratulations to the MBS graduating class of 2014! On Friday, May 30th these 28 students were honored at their graduation Mass in the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. Dressed in their beautiful white gowns and handsome suits, the graduates received their diplomas in front of their proud families, friends and MBS staff. The Mission School alumni choir welcomed back past graduates who filled the Basilica with joyful songs of praise. Immediately following the celebratory Mass the students and their parents enjoyed an elegant dinner dance in the school gym. The last dance of the evening was an emotional one as the graduates, many of whom have been together since Pre-K knew that it was finally time to say good-bye. These eighth graders will bring their talents to Dana Hills, Santa Margarita, Capistrano Valley, San Juan Hills, JSerra, Mater Dei, Laguna Hills, Sacred Heart and St. Margaret’s High Schools in the fall. Many of the students have been accepted with Honors and Academic Distinction to their high schools of choice. And although these 28 students will be moving on from Mission Basilica School we know they will carry with them cherished memories from their time spent here.
