Coronavirus Testing Sites In Orange County: How To Make An Appt.
The county of Orange has identified these testing and screening sites for both essential workers and the general public.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — With testing for coronavirus becoming more commonplace, new screening sites were made available to all, Thursday.
Essential workers, and members of the general public, this one's for you. The County of Orange has identified COVID-19 testing and screening sites for everyone, thanks to the folks at OPTUMServe.
The tests being offered are a nasal test for the active COVID-19 virus and infections, this is not an antibody test, they say.

FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS:
Coronavirus tests are available for health care workers, first responders, social service workers and other essential workers who cannot get tested through your health care providers or employers. These four testing sites are now available to you in cities of:
- Buena Park
- Orange
- Santa Ana
- San Juan Capistrano
The sites are open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Appointments are required, and can be made and location details confirmed, by visiting lhi.care/covidtesting or calling 1 (888) 634-1123 (please note that phone registration will only be used for people without internet access).
There is no medical assessment offered at the OPTUMServe Test Sites, so it is recommended that
people with symptoms should contact their medical provider or, if they do not have a provider, go to a clinic listed on the OC COVID-19 Testing Network at www.ochealthinfo.com
FOR NON-ESSENTIAL ORANGE COUNTY RESIDENTS:
For residents of Orange County who are not essential workers, there are several testing sites available.
However, residents must have at least one symptom of COVID-19 before they will be tested. There will be no out of pocket costs to you, though insurance may be billed.
"You are asked to contact your medical provider first and only access these services if you do not have a provider, or if your provider is unable to provide testing," the Orange County Health Care Agency says. "You MUST make an appointment for testing with one of the clinics below to assure eligibility and availability of testing.
