CUSD TO Approve 2017-18 Budget
Increased Compensation for Everyone! No Impasse was ever filed as required by law.

CUSD uses a "Multi-prong Approach" to balance it's budget.
CUSD starts off by building all employee compensation increases into their budget. After the increases if cuts need to be made, they start with unilateral cuts to negotiated items- usually CUSD will start by cutting books and supplies etc.
Then if CUSD can't cover raises with those cuts- then they start negotiate a reduction to the increases they included in the budget.
