CUSD Hosts Eighth Grade Expositions

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – During the months of January and February, CUSD high schools host 8th Grade Expositions informing students and families about the various programs, clubs, and activities offered at each site. Attendees also have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, and prepare for their high school experience. Expositions are held prior to the opening of the School of Choice window to provide parents with the information necessary to make decisions regarding placement for the upcoming school year.

Eighth Grade Expos are being held at the following dates and times. Please consider attending one or more of these events to learn more about the programs offered at the various sites:

All Capistrano Unified high schools provide a broad course of study and include elective offerings providing students the opportunity to specialize in areas of their choice. In addition, each high school provides unique opportunities that enable students to study topics that are of interest to them.

• Capistrano Valley High School - Engineering, Academy of Technology Math and Science, Language Immersion, International Baccalaureate (IB), Auto Technology
• Dana Hill High School - South Orange County School of the Arts, Health Medical Occupations, Culinary Arts, Biotechnology, Forensics/Public Services
• San Clemente High School - Auto Technology, Culinary Arts, Dual Immersion, International Baccalaureate (IB), Information/Communications
• San Juan Hills High School - Language Immersion, Law/Public Services
• Tesoro High School - Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone, Business/Accounting, Chinese, Natural Science
