Ditch The E-Waste In San Juan Capistrano At Recycling Event
San Juan Capistrano is holding a free e-waste, shredding and compost giveaway event Saturday.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Do you have forgotten e-waste taking up space in your garage, or sensitive documents that you've been needing to shred? Mark your calendars, San Juan Capistrano. On Saturday, the city is hosting an e-waste and shredding event for residents, free of charge.
At the event, residents can bring their e-waste or old documents and have them recycled or destroyed free of charge.
Electronic waste, or e-waste, includes items such as old cell phones, computers, printers, microwaves and other small appliances. To participate in the event, no registration is required — though the city emphasizes that the drive operates on a first-come, first-serve basis.
