Junior Sam Eichler pitched a no-hitter and Capistrano Valley Christian defeated Fairmont Prep, 5-0, in San Joaquin League play Tuesday at Fairmont Prep. Eichler faced only 29 batters, striking out 18, including 12 in a row to end the game for the Eagles, who are undefeated in league play and ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division 6 coaches' poll.
