Elect a CUSD Board of Trustees that will put the educational interests of students above the economic interest of employees
Time for a Change- elect SHROVE, REARDON, FERGUSON and VOLLEBREGT to the CUSD Board of Trustees

THANK YOU all City Mayors for your letter to CUSD regarding your Opposition to the $2 billion dollar bond.
With your vote, we can change the direction of CUSD. A District that has always placed the economic interests of employees above the educational interest of students.
Under Local Control, CUSD will have had flat per pupil funding for 14 years, at less than $8,500 per student. (Laguna Beach gets over $16,000 per student).

Yet District employees have given themselves over $120 million in compensation increases over the last four years.
CUSD employee compensation has been over 89% of CUSD’s total budget since 2007-08.

That $120 million in compensation increases could have gone to fix and maintain facilities, reduce class sizes, reduce overcrowding at school sites, restore cut programs and restore instructional time.
That $120 million is money should have been spent to ensure a quality education for all students, and guarantee the health and safety of our students,
It is time for a Change. VOTE this November for Candidates that will educate students, not look for new revenues streams to compensate employees.
Protect Students and Taxpayers.
Please PUBLICLY endorse SHROVE, REARDON, FERGUSON and VOLLEBREGT and help shine a spotlight on Trustee Lynn Hatton-Hodson for her potential conflict of interest and the potential recall of Trustee McNicholas for breaking her campaign promise to taxpayers.
